As a toddler, Riley's father attempted to persuade her to eat broccoli, but Disgust rejected the idea. When her father stated that she wouldn't receive dessert unless she finished her dinner, Anger prompted her to throw a tantrum until her father transformed the broccoli into an airplane, ultimately convincing Riley to eat it.
